This speculative rebrand was sparked by a daily commute past Full Moon Bar-B-Que—a regional Southern chain I grew up seeing and wanted to reimagine through a more nostalgic, character-driven lens.

The concept channels the energy of a vintage roadside eatery while modernizing the experience through bold colors, playful typography, and personality-rich copy. I leaned into the warmth and familiarity of Southern hospitality, pairing it with a refreshed visual tone that could feel both classic and fresh to a new generation of diners.

At the heart of the redesign is a lively, vintage-inspired mascot that evokes friendliness and fun. The system is supported by vibrant packaging, quirky language, and simple visual cues that make the brand approachable, joyful, and rooted in storytelling.

This project is a fictional reimagining and is not affiliated with Full Moon Bar-B-Que.
